BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Beckley man is facing charges after he was allegedly caught exposing himself at a church.
Beckley Police say they were dispatched to Calloway Heights Baptist Church, located at 132 Rural Acres Drive, on May 2, 2024, regarding an indecent exposure complaint. Witnesses say that Brett Haynes was exposing himself and masturbating.
Haynes started screaming and cursing as he began threatening to kill the officers and Jan Care employees on the scene. Haynes was detained and continuously informed he was going to kill all of them and that he needed more drugs to take.
Police say Haynes was highly under the influence of narcotics. He was given multiple verbal commands to stop screaming and cursing, but he refused.
Haynes is charged with disorderly conduct and indecent exposure. He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 2,000 dollar bond.
