LOGAN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Southern West Virginia Community & Technical College has announced an upcoming career panel event which will feature NASA employees.
The panel, set to take place later this month, will reportedly feature two employees of NASA (the National Aeronautics and Space Administration) who will be available to speak with those in attendance regarding their own respective journeys and their roles within the iconic agency.
Students will be provided with opportunities to network, to present questions of their own to the panel’s distinguished guests, and to acquire additional information about potential employment through NASA.
Featured will be Mission Analysis Engineer Katie Kosak EMC/EMI/IR, who earned her PhD in Astrophysics at the University of Warwick and her B.S. in Physics and B.S. in Applied Science at Florida Institute of Technology.
Additionally, Bonnie Stone – Industrial Engineer with NASA – will be present as a distinguished guest for the event. Stone earned her M.S in Industrial Optimization at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, her M.S. in Business Administration at Florida Institute of Technology, and her B.S. in Medical Technology at the University of Memphis.
The event is scheduled to take place in two parts, with the first set to be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, for area students. The second part will be held from 2:00pm to 3:00pm for community members.
This event will be free of charge and will take place at the Logan Southern Community & Technical College campus in the Savas Kostas Theatre.
