POINT PLEASANT, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A West Columbia man was sentenced on firearm-related charges on Tuesday.
According, to the Mason County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, William J. Roush – 47 years old of West Columbia – was convicted in the Circuit Court of Mason County due to having been a felon in possession of a firearm.
The conviction resulted in the statutory maximum sentence of five years imprisonment for the crimes in question.
Prosecutor Gaskins of the Mason County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office extended his gratitude to members of the Mason County Police Department for their assistance in bringing the defendant to justice.
