BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Academy Sports will host a hiring event today and Thursday for positions at its new Beckley location.
The hiring event will take place today, Wednesday, June 26, 2024, and tomorrow Thursday, June 27, 2024, at the new store located at 301 Beckley Plaza in Beckley.

Academy Sports is looking to hire around 80 employees.
A spokesperson for Academy Sports tells LOOTPRESS that the store will open this fall, an exact date has not been given at this time.
This will be the second Academy Sports location in the Mountain State. Here, you will be able to find top national brands such as Nike, Adidas, YETI, Blackstone, Titleist, and Shimano.
