WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – On October 1, 2021 Trooper J. J. Cornelius was dispatched to Davis, WV in reference to a suspicious male subject. Trooper Cornelius located and identified the male as 46 year old Jefferey Allen Burnham of Cumberland Maryland.
Trooper Cornelius discovered Jefferey Burnham was wanted for three counts of murder in the state of Maryland. Jefferey Burnham was arrested for the murder of Rebecca Reynolds, 83 of Cumberland Maryland, Brian Robinette, 58 of Ellicott City Maryland and Kelly Robinette, 57 of Ellicott City Maryland.
Jefferey Burnham was also found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle and a firearm.
Trooper Cornelius conducted follow up investigation and collected evidence which was turned over to law enforcement officials in Maryland. Following his arrest, Jefferey Burnham was transported to Tygart Valley Regional Jail where he is currently being held awaiting extradition back to Maryland. This investigation remains active and ongoing.
