FRANKFORD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An argument about a funeral leads to one man being arrested.
On Sunday, November 10, Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Deputy B.P. Walls responded to a call regarding an alleged domestic dispute involving a woman and her boyfriend, Jeffrey Allen Moore, on Anthony Road. According to the Sheriff’s Department report, the woman’s mother contacted authorities on her daughter’s behalf, as cell service was unavailable at the residence.
She met with Deputy Walls at the Renick Post Office, where she detailed an argument that reportedly escalated about a funeral in a few days. When she attempted to leave with her two young children, she stated that Moore allegedly used his car to block her vehicle, colliding with her car in an attempt to prevent her departure. She also reported that Moore clung to her window, shouting at her and the children as she tried to leave.
Deputy Walls noted fresh damage on both vehicles, suggesting evidence of the confrontation. Following the report, Moore was taken into custody on three counts of domestic assault, and additional charges for property damage are expected as the investigation continues.
