Greenbrier East 18, Beckley 5
Beckley – Greenbrier East scored in every inning Saturday as it made the trip across I-64 to beat sectional rival Beckley 18-5 in Beckley.
Daris Boswell scorched the ball all afternoon, collecting four hits for the Spartans and driving in five runs. Jordan Mize, Zach Trump, Henry Goodwin, Daniel Wygal and Chris Heaster all had multi-hit games for the Spartans.
Cooper Vaught led Beckley with a home run and two RBIs.
Greenbrier East improves to 14-4 and will host Oak Hill on Monday. Beckley will travel to Princeton on Monday.

Greenbrier West 13, Richwood 2 (6 innings)
Richwood – Chase McClung struck out eight batters over three innings as Greenbrier West defeated Richwood 13-2 in six innings Saturday in Richwood.
McClung’s contributions weren’t limited to the mound as he added two hits and drove in two runs. Evan McDade led all batters, driving in three runs while Cole McClung drove in two.
West improves to 7-6 and will travel to Webster County on Monday.
