FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #118 will host its annual Police Memorial Service on Friday, May 15, 2026, honoring officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Fayette County Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Building. Organizers are encouraging community members, law enforcement personnel, and local officials to attend and show their respect for fallen officers.
The annual event serves as a solemn tribute to those who have lost their lives while protecting and serving their communities, recognizing their bravery and dedication.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony for attendees.
