Shady 8, Beckley 7
Beckley – Shady squandered a 6-1 lead but weathered a Beckley rally to secure an 8-7 win over the Flying Eagles at Linda K. Ealing Stadium Monday evening.
Jacob Meadows collected two hist and drove in a run for the Tigers while Cam Manns notched three hits while allowing juts one in five innings of work on the mound.
Blake Nixon led Beckley with two hits in the loss.
Westside 4, Liberty 1
Glen Daniel – Westside managed just one hit but capitalized on five Liberty errors to earn a 4-1 win over the Raiders Monday in Clear Fork.
Hayden Miller had the Renegades’ lone hit in the win while Jordan Elswick pitched 5.2 innings, scattering two hits and striking out nine.
Tristian Yeargo drove in Liberty’s only run in the loss
Independence 8, Greater Beckley 4
Beckley – Cole Cunningham drove in three runs, blasting a homer as Independence picked up an 8-4 win over Greater Beckley Monday in Beckley.
Levi Barnett picked up the win for Indy on the mound with six innings of two-hit ball.
