BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Beckley man has been arrested following an investigation into the alleged sexual exploitation of a juvenile in Mercer County, according to the West Virginia State Police.
Trooper First Class J.B. Fox initiated the investigation on Monday, April 13, 2026, after receiving a complaint involving a juvenile in the Rock area of Mercer County.
Authorities said the suspect, identified as 30-year-old Bryan S. Taylor of Beckley, was taken into custody on Tuesday, April 14, at his residence.
He is charged with possession of child sex abuse material, solicitation of a juvenile, use of obscene matter, and distribution of child sex abuse material.
Following his arrest, Taylor was transported to Southern Regional Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment.
West Virginia State Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
