RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is facing charges after he allegedly fired shots at his ex-girlfriend while driving.
According to State Troopers, on Saturday, June 5, 2021, State Police received a call about Brandon Richmond shooting a firearm at a female victim while following her in his vehicle along Clear Creek Crossing Road in the Beckley area.
The victim told police that her ex-boyfriend, Brandon Richmond, had persistently followed her in his red pickup truck while driving on Clear Creek Crossing Road. The victim further stated she pulled over to let him pass, at which point he brandished a handgun and fired two rounds at her while she was in her vehicle. The victim advised neither of the bullets struck her car, and the accused continued driving after the fact.
Troopers attempted to locate Richmond following the report made by the victim but were unable to do so.
Richmond is charged with brandishing a deadly weapon, domestic assault, shooting in the roadway, and wanton endangerment. He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 75,000 dollar bond.
