BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A mother is charged with child neglect after police observed human feces on the walls and dresser.
According to Beckley Police, a domestic call was reported on Smoot Ave. When they arrived, they noticed human feces smeared on the wall next to the stairs. Police also observed a juvenile sitting on a mattress with multiple empty pop cans, stains, no sheets, and no blanket.
When police looked in the bedroom, they observed more dried human feces in numerous places, including a dresser. Other items and food were found to be scattered all over the floor. When police asked Noah Hargis about the feces, he replied it was from the kids.
Police spoke to the suspect, who is also the mother, Adrianne Allen, who said she didn’t have a job. When she was asked about the human feces, she replied she was in the process of cleaning it up.
Beckley Police responded by telling her that it was dried and stuck to the walls and dresser; she stated that she was in the process of cleaning the kid’s mess again. Police then told her that nothing looked to have been touched, and it wasn’t healthy for the kids and created multiple health risks. Allen became upset and said she had already lost three kids to CPS.
Allen was charged with child neglect creating the risk of injury, and is out on bond.
