BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Beckley man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at Opportunity Knocks early Thursday morning, according to the Beckley Police Department.
At about 3:30 a.m. on Aug. 28, officers responded to a report of a robbery in progress at the business located at 423 Ragland Road.

Police said a white male suspect entered the store, displayed a firearm, and demanded money from an employee before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Detectives canvassed the surrounding area and obtained surveillance video that showed a suspect vehicle with distinctive features.
Following its direction of travel, detectives continued their search into the Lanark area of Raleigh County.
Around 10:50 a.m., investigators spotted the suspect vehicle traveling along the 1100 block of Stanaford Road and conducted a traffic stop.
Police said the stop led to the arrest of 40-year-old Eric Dillon, who has been charged with first-degree robbery.
Searches of the vehicle and a residence later turned up the firearm used in the robbery, clothing worn by the suspect, and a portion of the stolen money, officials said.
Detective Corporal Michael Deems is leading the investigation.
