BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A new outdoor recreation attraction in Beckley is set to officially open to the public this weekend.
Beckley Outdoors will hold the grand opening of the Beckley Rail Trail Bike Park at noon Saturday, Aug. 22.
The new bike park is located along the Beckley Rail Trail behind 3100 Robert C. Byrd Drive. The park includes new biking features designed to provide additional recreational opportunities along the trail.
During Saturday’s grand opening, visitors will have an opportunity to see the new features and watch the bike park in action. Beckley Outdoors is encouraging residents to bring their bikes and friends to take part in the celebration.
Parking for the event will be available at the City of Beckley monthly parking lot on Piney Avenue.
