BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Beckley Travel baseball team won a state qualifier tournament out of state over the weekend!
Kids from Beckley, Oak Hill, Summersville, Sophia, and Iaeger represent the team Beckley team called The West Virginia Wolfpack.
Last weekend, the 8U team played in the Marucci Halloween Havoc Wooden Bat tournament in Roanoke, VA. That tournament is a VA state qualifier tournament. The team went 4-0 on the weekend and won the championship. The 8U program has won 3 championships since August.
There will be one more tournament this fall on November 5-6 in Abingdon, VA, and then they will then play in 10-12 more tournaments next spring and summer.
There are five teams, 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, and 12U, which range from 7 years of age to 12.
