UPDATE: BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Beckley Water Company lifted a precautionary boil water advisory Friday for Blue Room Road, Jean Lane, and a number of other Raleigh County locations.
The precautionary advisory was issued on Thursday due to a broken main line, and pertained to 170 through 472 Blue Room Road, Midview Lane, Jean Lane, Cochran Lane, Valley View Street, Brammer Avenue, Roselawn Avenue, Broadway Avenue, Ballard Street, Affinity Road, Mountaineer Avenue, Pratt Lane, and 118, 202, 246 1st Avenue.Â
Testing has confirmed that the water in these areas now meets standards for consumption.
