SUMMERS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Summers County High School dismissing early due to a bomb threat.
Summers County Sheriff’s Department says they responded to a bomb threat at Summers County High School. While on the scene, they determined that there was no imminent threat.
To any parent that wishes to go retrieve their child, please do not cross the railroad tracks at this time. Deputies are still in the school exhausting all methods to support the determination to ensure the safety of the students and staff.
All students and staff have been evacuated from the building per school procedures.
At this time, all students are being bussed off the premises and transported to the Lifeline Church.
