Institute – Absent starters Tanner Whitten and Chandler Johnson, Wyoming East fell 86-46 to Class AAAA South Charleston Monday at the ParMar Stores Shootout at West Virginia State.
Wayne Harris led the charge for the Black Eagles, scoring 20 points. As a team they hit 13 3-pointers in the win.
Tanner Cook led East, scoring 17 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Jacob Howard added 15 points for East in the loss.

Institute – Jackson Tackett scored 21 points to help guide No. 2 Logan past No. 1 Fairmont Senior 72-64 Monday in the Par Mar Stores Shootout at West Virginia State.
Scotty Browning added 18 points for the Wildcats while Aiden Slack pitched in 14. DeSean Goode led Fairmont with 20 points while Eric Smith pitched in 12.
The loss is the first of the season for Fairmont.
