BEVERLY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A single-car motor vehicle accident Tuesday resulted in a vehicle losing control and entering a residential property.
According to reports from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, Sgt. B.W. Cogar, Cpl. S.D. Kyle, and Sr. Dep. Z.T. Pingley responded to a Files Creek Road residence near the post office.
Here, deputies spoke with the driver and passengers in the vehicle, along with the occupants of the residence.
Based on evidence at the scene, as well as the officers’ investigation, it was determined that the vehicle had been traveling west on County Route 37/8 toward Beverly.
Once the vehicle started into a turn, the driver lost control and the vehicle left the roadway, struck a block garage, and eventually came to rest in the yard between the garage and the residence itself.
Following the accident, there were no injuries reported by the vehicle occupants or those present in the residence at the time it occurred.
