CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Charleston is gearing up to host the USA Cycling Pro Road National Championships from May 14 to 19, 2024.

To aid residents, businesses, and visitors, the city has compiled detailed daily guidance covering commute adjustments, race routes, road closures, parking, and other pertinent information.

Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin highlighted the collaborative efforts involved in preparing for this event, ensuring smooth operations, public safety, and emergency response readiness.

“Our City Team – in collaboration with the Charleston CVB, USA Cycling, WV DOH, along with many folks in our community – have been working hard to prepare for the upcoming Pro Road National Championships,” said Goodwin.

“As with any large-scale, multi-day event – there are a lot of moving parts to consider – commuting, access to events and places, and always public safety.”
