The Children’s Home Society of West Virginia is accepting registrants for its first annual “Hope, Line and Sinker” bass fishing tournament.
The tournament, which is conducted by BASS Nation of West Virginia, will take place at Summersville Lake from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 24, 2021. Boats will be launched from the Battle Run Area of the lake on the day of the tournament.
Due to COVID, pre-registration is required, and registration will be accepted until April 20. The registration fee is $100 donation per boat, with a two-person limit per boat.
All donations will go to the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia.
According to the tournament’s rules, scoring will be determined by the weight of the bass. There is a five-bass limit, and each fish must be at least 12 inches in length to qualify. Product prizes will be awarded to the top 20 percent of competitor teams and Lunker Winner.
The tournament rules and entry form can be found on the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia-Summersville Site Facebook page and at www.childhswv.org.
Entry forms and fees should be mailed to: Children’s Home Society of WV, 402 Church Street, Summersville, WV 26651.
