CASS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – This holiday season, take a journey on the Cass Scenic Railroad and experience the magic of Christmas at Cass.
The steam-powered train will depart from the Cass depot and follow the scenic Greenbrier River on a festive 1.5-hour ride.
Passengers of all ages will enjoy the beautifully decorated and heated coaches.
For a unique experience, limited seating is available in the historic Chesapeake & Ohio caboose at the rear of the train.
As an added treat, each child on board will receive a special surprise gift, included in the ticket price.
The festivities extend beyond the train ride.
The Cass Scenic Railroad State Park and the Friends of Cass have planned a variety of holiday activities throughout the weekend, including visits from Santa Claus.
As night falls, the town of Cass and the Greenbrier River Trail will be illuminated by thousands of twinkling lights.
The full schedule of Christmas at Cass events will be announced by the Friends of Cass closer to December.
