PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Princeton has announced the schedule of events for its upcoming 4th of July Celebration, which will begin this weekend.
Kicking off on Saturday, July 1, 2023, with a disc golf tournament at Princeton City Park, the multi-day celebration will feature a variety of activities and entertainment.
The Princeton Fire Department will be hosting guests for water balloon games, and several contests, live performances, and games are booked for the celebration, along with vendors offering various products and food items.
The event will run through the weekend and into the next week, concluding with a fireworks show the night of Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

11:00 a.m. – Disc Golf Tournament at Princeton City Park

5:00 p.m. – Freedom Cruise on Mercer Street with live music from Hidden Mountain Treasure
Sunday, July 2
5:00 p.m. – Jeeper’s Freedom Cruise on Mercer Street with live music from Hidden Mountain Treasure
Monday, July 3
8:30 p.m. – FREE Outside Movie: Captain America with free popcorn at the Chuck Mathena Center
Tuesday, July 4
12:00 p.m. – Hotdog Eating Contest at Hunnicutt Field
1:00 p.m. – Princeton Whistlepigs vs. Pulaski River Turtles
1:00 p.m. – Annual Car Show in PSHS Parking Lot
4:00 p.m. – Concerts, Games, Food Trucks, Balloon Animals and More at the Chuck Mathena Center
