WYOMING COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Wyoming County Prosecuting Attorney, Derek Laxton, announced that Brandi Lynn Combs, 51, of Coal City, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty on April 29th, 2026, to the Felony offense of Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl.
Combs faces a potential 3–15-year prison sentence following her conviction.
On January 5th, 2026, Cpl. Matthew Perry of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office was attempting to find and arrest Brandi Combs on an outstanding warrant she had pending in Raleigh County. After receiving information that Combs was at a residence in Wyoming County in Garwood, Cpl. Perry traveled to that residence, was permitted entry, and located Combs inside a room in that residence.
Following a search incident to her arrest, Cpl. Perry recovered $120 cash from her person and a baggy containing approximately 17 grams of a white powdery substance. Inside the same room, Cpl. Perry also found a digital scale.
Post Miranda warning, Combs admitted that the white powdery substance was Fentanyl, and that she had sold controlled substances from that residence.
Combs is currently held in the Regional Jail and will be sentenced on June 25th, 2026, at 11:00AM at the Wyoming County Courthouse.Â
