PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The annual Community Veterans Breakfast and Stand Down Event will take place Saturday November 5, 2022, beginning at 9:00 am at the Lifeline Princeton Church of God, 250 Oakvale Road, Princeton, WV.
Gates will open at 7:00 am allowing cars to enter the lineup for the distribution.
The event is FREE and open to ALL veterans and their families. This is not limited to just Mercer County veterans but is open to all veterans regardless of where they reside.
Veteran organizations locally and in neighboring counties in West Virginia and Virginia received invitations to attend this event.
The Stand Down Event will be held completely outdoors beginning at 9:00 am followed by the breakfast and program inside the church. The Stand Down Event typically provides supplies and services to Veterans, particularly homeless Veterans such as food, shelter, clothing, health screenings, and counseling.
The Stand Down Event is open to all veterans who attend. Exhibitors from the VA and other organizations will be present to provide guidance and advice to veterans. We anticipate that health officials will be available to provide free flu vaccinations to veterans, as well as to veterans’ family members with insurance.
This is a FREE event that is open to all veterans and their families.
