ATHENS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Concord University has announced its 2024 Giving Day campaign which calls upon all alumni and friends of the university to contribute to Concord’s 600-donor goal.
Giving Day contributions will go toward supporting campus improvements, scholarships, and additional university-related projects through the Concord Fund – one of the most significant funds for the university.
“As we approach Giving Day, I am deeply moved by the unwavering generosity that our Mountain Lion community – alumni, faculty, staff, and friends – consistently shows to Concord University,” said Annual Giving Manager, Savannah Cooper. “This year, our goal of uniting 600 donors reflects not just a number, but the strength and dedication of a community that believes in the transformative power of education.”
This year’s Concord Giving Day campaign will kick off on September 26, 2024, and donations will also be accepted on September 27, 2024. Those interested in contributing to the cause may do so by mailing contributions to CU Foundation at PO Box 1405, Athens, WV 24712, or by contributing through the Giving Day website.
Matching gifts and financial pledges are also currently being accepted for the Giving Day campaign. These contributions can be made by reaching out to the CU Foundation by phone at (304) 384-4728 or by email at sjcooper@concord.edu.
