ATHENS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Omicron Psi chapter of Delta Mu Delta, the International Honor Society in Business, has been recognized for the fourth straight year as a Star Chapter, according to a recent announcement.
Each year, the Star Chapter award is presented to exceptional chapters which are able to meet or succeed the standards established by the Honor Society.
Top senior and junior business students are invited each year to join the business honor society. Eligible students are those who have achieved high grade point averages and have reached the top 20% of their Business Department class.
Eighteen students will receive invitations this semester to join as new members for the upcoming year. Membership within the Honor Society lasts for the respective lifetimes of its members and makes available opportunities for scholarships as well as other benefits.
Concord’s Omicron Psi Chapter completes service projects each year for the community and university. These projects are part of the established requirements for the Star Chapter award. The chapter was inducted and became operational in the Fall of 2020 and have now achieve prestigious recognition for the fourth year running.
