RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Raleigh County couple is in jail after allegedly holding down a teenager and sexually abusing her.
According to the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office, on October 12, 2024, a teenage juvenile claimed she was doing laundry when Tommy Day’s girlfriend, Hallie Akers, asked her to help color her hair. While she was blow-drying Hallie’s hair, Hallie began to kiss the underage victim. Tommy told the victim he could make her feel good.
The victim told authorities that she was uncomfortable and did not want to be touched. Tommy pulled the victim’s clothes off and sexually abused her. While Tommy was sexually abusing the victim, Hallie allegedly told the victim this was hot and held the victim down by her shoulder’s where she couldn’t move.
During the investigation and interviews with both suspects, both Tommy and Hallie admitted to sexually abusing the teenage victim.
Both suspects were arrested on Friday, February 21, 2025, and charged with sexual abuse and conspiracy. They are being held in Southern Regional Jail.
