HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Four individuals involved in a drug-trafficking operation out of Detroit were arrested on Thursday in the West End and Southside areas of Huntington.
According to the Huntington Police Department, on the morning of Thursday, April 11, 2024, the Huntington Violent Crime Drug Task Force, Huntington Police Department SWAT Team, and special agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms executed three search warrants in the Huntington area.
Confiscated as a result of these searches were ten firearms, quantities of heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana, and U.S. currency.
Among those arrested were Kelly Terberg – 32 years old of Lansig, Michigan – who faces charges of one misdemeanor count of Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. Terberg was arraigned by Cabell County Magistrate Ron Miller and was released on a recognizance bond.
Armoni Dazell Harris – 26 years old of Detroit, Michigan – was arrested and charged with being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver. Harris was arraigned on received a $3,500 cash bond.
Herbert Hoover Gilbert – 44 years old of Huntington, West Virginia – was arrested and charged with one count of Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver. Gilbert was arraigned and received a $25,000 standard bond.
Finally, Jacki Dwayne Lucas – 48 years old of Huntington, West Virginia – was arrested and charged with one count of Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver. Lucas was arrested and received a $2,500 cash bond.
The Huntington Police Department indicates that additional arrests are anticipated to emerge in relation to the investigation, which remains ongoing.
