ORGAS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Boone County woman was arrested late Thursday night following a domestic disturbance in which she allegedly threatened to kill a family member, authorities reported.
The incident occurred on November 28, 2024, at approximately 10:09 p.m. at a residence on Skeens Lane in the community of Orgas. Boone County Emergency Management received a call from a man who reported that his daughter, 41-year-old Angel Regina Skeens, was causing a disturbance at his home.
The caller, identified as Mr. Skeens, stated that his daughter was “out of her mind” and “trying to fight with us.” A female victim was also present in the residence.
When Trooper First Class E.M. Shafer arrived at the scene, he secured a loaded and cocked revolver found on the back porch of the home. Mr. Skeens told the trooper that his daughter had taken the firearm from his bedroom during the altercation. He alleged that Skeens had threatened to kill the female victim, saying, “She is going to end up killing us.”
The accused was located shortly thereafter, walking along West Virginia Route 3 near Sylvester, a short distance from the home. She was detained by the officer and returned to the residence, where the victim provided a statement.
The victim reported that Skeens became irate and began yelling at her without provocation, ultimately threatening to “blow her head off.”
Skeens was arrested on charges of domestic assault and transported to the West Virginia State Police Detachment in Danville for processing.
Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported during the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
