The funds will be used to purchase a new scoreboard for the baseball/softball field in Boomer used by Valley Middle School athletes.
Delegate Pritt said he was proud to be able to give back to the community in some way.
“On behalf of Governor Morrissey and myself, I am proud to have presented this check to the Fayette County Board of Education. This money is going to be used to purchase a brand new state-of-the-art scoreboard for the kids who attend Valley PK-8 in Smithers,” Pritt said.
“Their baseball and softball teams will now have a working scoreboard for their field. I am proud to be able to give back in some small way.”
