BOONE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A routine patrol turned unusual Friday evening when a deputy encountered a woman standing along Greenview and Big Branch Road with her pants down, screaming at people who weren’t there.
The incident happened around 4:24 p.m. on August 15, 2025. According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, the woman refused to identify herself, ignored commands to stop, and tried to push past the deputy when he attempted to block her path.
After being detained in handcuffs, the woman reportedly yelled that she was “wearing a wire” and claimed the deputy had no authority to stop her. Deputies say she continued to refuse giving her name.
