CLENDENIN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Diversified Energy Company, a natural gas producer with employees and operations in West Virginia, partnered with Operation Warm to provide 332 new coats to children at Clendenin Elementary School in Clendenin, West Virginia. In total, Diversified will make a $205,000 donation to Operation Warm to provide essential winter clothing to children across all ten states they operate in ahead of this winter season.
“Operation Warm is dedicated to more than just keeping children warm; we’re committed to giving them the gift of hope. A new coat or pair of shoes doesn’t just shield them from the cold, it brings comfort, confidence, and a sense of security. Our mission is to provide children with the confidence they need to embrace the opportunities that come their way, and we thank Diversified Energy for their support in this important effort,” said Grace Sica, Executive Director for Operation Warm.
“We’re proud of the way our employees continue to give back to their local communities in meaningful ways,” said Rusty Hutson, CEO of Diversified Energy. “As a company that provides the energy to heat homes across the country, we understand the importance of warmth. Through our partnership with Operation Warm, we’re helping ensure that children in our communities have the winter clothing they need to stay safe and healthy. A warm coat can make a world of difference, and we’re excited to continue supporting local students as they prepare for the colder months.”
This is Diversified’s fourth year volunteering with Operation Warm. In 2023, the company donated over 1,000 coats to students across their Central Region. This year, Diversified plans to host coat drives across their entire operating footprint including in West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas and Alabama. These donations are part of Diversified Energy’s broader mission to directly support communities in ways that matter most to their employees.
