RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority has announced its “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” contest which will be hosted at all six Raleigh County Parks.
The contest will run until April 1, 2025, and invites residents to craft their own snowman creations at a Raleigh County Park – Dry-Hill Prosperity Community Park, Fitzpatrick Park, Lake Stephens, Marsh Fork Memorial Park, Stoco Community Park, and Clear Fork Rails & Trail are among eligible parks – and to submit a photo of their creations for a chance to win.
Participants are encouraged to photograph their snowman or snowmen at park locations wherein it is apparent that the snowman was constructed at a Raleigh County Parks location. These photos are then submitted to events@raleighcountyparks.gov.
Winner selections will be made, and awards will be distributed after April 1, 2025. Those with any concerns or questions have been encouraged to reach out to Raleigh County Parks by phone at (304) 934-5325 or by email at events@raleighparks.gov.
