BOONE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman was taken into custody Monday evening after allegedly causing a disturbance in a Racine neighborhood, authorities said.
According to a report from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call at approximately 7:30 p.m. on March 17 at 273 Valley Vista Drive. Boone County 911 received complaints that a woman, later identified as Nicole Gillenwater, was banging on a residence and attempting to fight with the homeowner and neighbors.
When deputies arrived around 7:40 p.m., a neighbor informed them that Gillenwater was inside a camper on the property. Witnesses reported that she had been attempting to fight anyone who approached her and was screaming loudly.
Upon making contact, officers say Gillenwater opened the camper door aggressively while cursing and yelling. She was ordered to exit the camper and keep her hands visible but allegedly became combative toward law enforcement. Officers then subdued her, placed her in handcuffs, and transported her to the West Virginia State Police Madison detachment.
