BERKELEY COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Recent traffic stops on I-81 in Berkeley County have resulted in the confiscation of thousands of dollars worth of meth and fentanyl.
According to Berkeley County Sheriff Nathan Harmon, while conducting traffic stops on 1-81 recently, Accelerated Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Team Deputies seized 909 grams of Methamphetamine aka “Meth” and another stop yielded 9 grams of fentanyl and 4 grams of Meth.
That equals 32.3 ounces with a street value of approximately $41,980.00.
“Your ACE Team continues their efforts into ridding our county of this poison and out of the hands of our young ones,” said Sheriff Harmon. “I am extremely proud of all our Deputy’s continued efforts in making Berkeley County SAFE each and every day.”
