BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Drugs were found during a jail search on a man, which he had hidden in his genital area.
On August 10, 2024, at approximately 8:19 PM, Sergeant C.M. Wade transported Billy Lester, hereafter referred to as the accused, to Southern Regional Jail located at 1200 Airport Road, Beaver, WV 25827.
Upon arrival, Correctional Officer Munoz began the intake process, during which he performed an unclothed body search.
During the search, Officer Munoz discovered a clear plastic baggie containing a crystal-like substance consistent with methamphetamine in the accused’s genital area.
Lester was charged with bringing drugs into a jail.
