CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Dunbar man has been arrested on charges relating to child abuse according to recent reports.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office indicates that, as the result of an investigation carried out by Wood County Sheriff Detective L.R. Board, 28-year-old Michael Eugene Mallory of Dunbar, WV has been taken into custody.
The arrest was reportedly made on Friday, July 12, 2024, and sees Mallory charged with Child Abuse Creating Risk of Injury.
The Dunbar man underwent arraignment before a Kanawha County Magistrate and has been remanded to South Central Regional Jail with a cash-only bond set at $2,500.
Mallory will reportedly be facing the charges in Wood County.
