CASS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – All aboard! Officials with Cass Scenic Railroad have announced that special train rides during its annual Parade of Steam are returning for 2023.
Admission to the Parade of Steam scheduled for June 17, 2023, is free and attendees will have the opportunity to view all of the operable, steam locomotives, from the Cass parking lot as they move down the rails.
The legendary locomotives will begin staging at the Cass Depot at 9:30 am, the parade will officially begin at 10:00 am and last for about an hour.
Then, at 1 pm and 3 pm, Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad crews will run special excursions along the Greenbrier Line. The price of admission is $30 for Ages 4+ and free for children ages 3 and under.
The Rail & Trail Store located inside the Cass Depot will be open throughout the day for souvenirs including Parade of Steam merchandise.
