CUNARD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Authorities in Fayette County responded to a tense domestic dispute Thursday night that escalated into allegations of forced entry and threats with a weapon.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at approximately 9:01 p.m. on February 6, 2025, to a residence at 1500 Brooklyn Loop Road following reports of a citizen dispute. While en route, dispatchers informed deputies that the situation had intensified, with a male suspect allegedly kicking in the door to gain entry. Minutes later, deputies were updated that the suspect had entered a black Chevrolet vehicle and was preparing to leave the scene.
Deputy Sheriff J.A. Warshaw and Corporal R.M. Fox intercepted the vehicle matching the description and conducted a traffic stop, identifying the occupants as Joshawal Williamson and Shalea Galloway. The pair claimed they had been allowed inside the residence by Andy Cody to retrieve their belongings. They acknowledged that tensions were rising but stated they left before the dispute escalated further.
Meanwhile, Cpl. Fox proceeded to the residence to gather additional statements. Noah Williamson, who was present at the scene, provided a written statement alleging that his half-brother, Joshawal Williamson, had forced entry into the home and made threats against him, his fiancée, and their father, Andy Cody. Noah claimed that Joshawal encouraged others to enter, allegedly stating, “Come on in, they can’t stop us, and neither can the law.”
The situation allegedly turned more dangerous when Joshawal reportedly brandished a knife and threatened Noah, stating, “Try to stop me, motherf***.”** Noah claimed that he was directly in front of Joshawal when the weapon was drawn.
