MONTGOMERY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Fayette County native Philip Bowen is headed to the America’s Got Talent semi-finals.
Philip Bowen, a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, most known for his playing of the fiddle, will attempt to wow the judges and viewers of America’s Got Talent (AGT) once again during the live week three semi-final show on Tuesday, September 5th.
Bowen, a native of Montgomery in Fayette County, now living in Michigan, posted the announcement to his official Facebook page. He stated that he will soon have plenty more details about voting, where to watch, and more.
Bowen has performed at iconic venues like The Bluebird Cafe and 3rd & Lindsley and even graced the stage of NPR’s Mountain Stage.
In May of 2023, he was the featured guest on NPR’s Us & Them by West Virginia Public Broadcasting where they discussed how Bowen learned classical violin as well as how to improvise on the fiddle, combining musical styles and genres.
Bowen has surpassed over 1 million followers on Tik Tok along with thousands of other followers on other social media platforms.
