MEADOW BRIDGE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Fayette County woman is facing felony burglary charges.
According to Fayette County Sheriff Mike Fridley, on Saturday, December 23, 2023, just before 4:00 pm. deputies responded to a burglary complaint in Meadow Bridge.
The caller advised deputies that he owned a residence that was uninhabited at the time, and when he came to do his daily check on the property, he caught a female inside the residence actively attempting to steal items from inside.
Deputies arrived shortly thereafter and took the female into custody.
Shannon Bennet, 48 of Sewell Mountain, is charged with the felony offense of Burglary.
Bennet will now await further court proceedings.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department states that all defendants are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Â
