FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The town of Fayetteville will be hosting a Splash Pad Grand Opening celebration to welcome the newest addition to Fayetteville Town Park.
The Grand Opening Celebration will take place on Saturday, September 9, at 10 AM at the park.
The town of Fayetteville invites the community to come out and attend the celebration and not to forget to bring a towel to dry off.
The town says it extends its thanks to the Park and Recreation Commission as they worked for several years to raise funds for the splash pad.
Town officials say that Fayetteville Town Park’s splash pad was made possible with combined funds from the American Relief Fund with help from Senators Capito and Manchin, along with Rep. Miller, and the Fayetteville Park Commission.
“Outdoor recreation, health and wellness is key to our community’s youth and the Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Commission felt the splash pad would be an amazing addition to our town park,” the town stated in a post on its Facebook page.
Fayetteville Town Park is located at Park Dr, Fayetteville, WV 25840.
