CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will open in Charleston tomorrow to help with disaster assistance applications from the April 2-6 storms.
According to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), a state-federal Disaster Recovery Center will open tomorrow May 28, 2024, at 8 AM at the Tyler Mountain Fire Department in Charleston.
The center will be open to assist residents affected by the April 2-6 severe storms.
Individuals in Boone, Cabell, Fayette, Kanawha, Lincoln, Marshall, Nicholas, Ohio, Putnam, Wayne, and Wetzel counties can apply for assistance from FEMA.
The center will help with disaster assistance applications along with uploading required documents and answering questions.
It will be open Monday-Saturday from 8 AM-6 PM.
