CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will open in Charleston tomorrow to help with disaster assistance applications from the April 2-6 storms.
According to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), a state-federal Disaster Recovery Center will open tomorrow May 28, 2024, at 8 AM at the Tyler Mountain Fire Department in Charleston.
The center will be open to assist residents affected by the April 2-6 severe storms.
Individuals in Boone, Cabell, Fayette, Kanawha, Lincoln, Marshall, Nicholas, Ohio, Putnam, Wayne, and Wetzel counties can apply for assistance from FEMA. Â
The center will help with disaster assistance applications along with uploading required documents and answering questions.
It will be open Monday-Saturday from 8 AM-6 PM.

The center will be located at 5380 Big Tyler Rd, Cross Lanes, WV 25313.
