BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Independence Day is quickly approaching so we’ve compiled a list of fireworks shows near America’s newest national park.
LOOTPRESS has compiled the following list of scheduled fireworks shows for communities surrounding New River Gorge National Park & Preserve.
FAYETTEVILLE:
Fireworks will begin at dusk on Saturday, July 6.
The Fayetteville Heritage Festival will be ongoing from Wednesday, July 3, to Saturday, July 6.
BECKLEY:
Fireworks will begin at 9:30 PM on Thursday, July 4 at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center.
Concessions will be available at the rear of the arena beginning at 5 PM.
Another fireworks show is scheduled at Linda K. Epling Stadium on Friday, July 5.
The fireworks show will begin once the scheduled 7 PM American Legion baseball game concludes.
Only guests entering the stadium for the evening’s events will be allowed to park in the stadium parking lot.
PAX:
Fireworks will begin at dusk on Saturday, July 6.
The Pax God & Country Day Celebration will be ongoing throughout the day on Saturday.
SUMMERSVILLE:
Fireworks will begin at dusk on Thursday, July 4, at Summersville Arena & Conference Center.
Parking will not be allowed at the arena. Attendees are encouraged to park near Walmart, Merchants Walk, or Northside.
MONTGOMERY:
Fireworks will begin at 10 PM on Wednesday, July 3.
Montgomery’s 4th of July celebration will also be held on Wednesday from 7 PM to 10 PM.
