CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The in-person return of Foodie Feast has been announced, with preparations having been made for an upcoming culinary event to benefit YWCA Sojourner’s Shelter for Homeless Women & Families.
Guests in attendance will have the opportunity to partake in brunch with a fresh, modern twist on a conventional Thanksgiving. Unique creations and traditional favorites prepared by various chefs will be available to sample while sipping a mimosa.
The event is set to take place on Saturday, November 12, 2023, at Beni Kedem Shrine Temple located at 100 Quarrier Street Charleston, WV. Early access begins at 11:00am, while general access will begin at 11:30am.
Foodie Feast will serve to benefit YWCA Sojourner’s, an organization which uses supportive counseling and crisis intervention, as well as case management, referral, and out reach services to empowering individuals to attain self-sufficiency.
“More than just a homeless shelter, YWCA Sojourner’s is a program with comprehensive services that build the bridge for families between homelessness and sustainable self-sufficiency,” says YWCA Program Director, Jennifer Fleshman. “As they say at the shelter: ‘We give you a bed, and a reason to get out of it!'”
