GHENT, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Bertha Ann Oliver, a longtime member of the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office, passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 76.
Oliver served as a deputy for many years before transitioning to the records department, retiring from both roles.
The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office expressed condolences to her family and loved ones, honoring her dedication and service to the community.
A memorial service will be held today, Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 3 p.m. at Ghent Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Pete Pack officiating.
Friends may visit with the family beginning at 1 p.m. at the church.
