CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia Democratic Party has announced the passing of former Kanawha County Delegate Danny Wells.
Wells was elected to the House of Delegates as a Democrat in 2004 and served up until 2014.
“Danny Wells will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all those who were impacted by his remarkable life. His spirit and contributions will never be forgotten,” said state Democratic Party Chairman Mike Pushkin.
Throughout his life Wells was also a teacher, radio talk show co-host, and a columnist, sports writer, and sports editor for the Charleston Gazette.
“He always had a smile on his face and he had the ability to put a smile on the face of all those he came in contact with,” said Pushkin.
