WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – Frito-Lay has issued a recall for certain 13 oz. bags of Tostitos Cantina Traditional Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips, which may contain nacho cheese tortilla chips and an undeclared milk allergen.
The recall affects less than 1,300 bags, but the impacted products were sold in several states, including West Virginia.
The company warns that individuals with a milk allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could face a life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the recalled chips.
The affected bags were distributed across more than a dozen states, including West Virginia, and were available through both retail and digital channels starting on March 7.
The full list of states includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Consumers who may have purchased the recalled chips are advised not to consume them.
