Shady Spring 104, PikeView 35
Shady Spring – Shady Spring rocketed to a 41-7 lead after a quarter, cruising to a 104-35 victory over PikeView to claim its sectional championship Thursday night in Shady.
Cam Manns led the assault with 25 points for Shady while Cole Chapman scored 17. Ammar Maxwell followed with 16 points while Braden Chapman notched 13.
David Thomas led PikeView with eight points in the loss.
Shady advances to the Region 3 championship game to be played Wednesday March 8 at Shady. The Tigers will host the loser of Friday’s matchup between Herbert Hoover and Lewis County with a spot in the state tournament on the line.
PikeView will travel to the winner on Wednesday, facing the same scenario.
